Alejandra

I come from flesh, blood and water

I come from a mix of many cultures

I come from the uterus of my mother

I come from my mistakes

I divide the towel to 3 parts to dry my body

I love to squeeze the pimps or black spots and see how the fat comes out

The most comfortable way to be for me is with the legs up or open

My ribcage is very long

Dóra

I come from the rage of my parents

I come from my grey hair

I come from my depression

I come from you

I maniacally clean my ears every day with an ear cleaning stick.

I have a long torso between my pubic bone and my sternum in relation to my body proportions.

I have a habit of procrastinating.

I sometimes pick my nose.

The choreography is based on the self-reflection of the performers. We would like to show how individuals try to meet the challenges of our existence in the modern world. One of the most striking features of this existence is the distancing of the self from the other, the sharp distinction of the self from the other, the marking of our boundaries and the determined defense of them. Division has become our basic experience, but separation causes anxiety and dissatisfaction, and this leads us to draw closer to each other. The characters in the performance move in this dichotomous space they have created, orbiting each other like celestial bodies in each other's gravitational field.

The two characters in Alter-Ego can be understood as two parts of one personality, or as two separate individuals, and the performance can be seen as one stage of a never-ending journey inwards, recognizing the other in ourselves or ourselves in the other.
